Four Container Ships Simultaneously

In Harmony and Operational Integration… Four Container Vessels Berth at Aden and Mualla Container Terminals during February 2026

24 February 2026—In a scene reflecting a high level of operational readiness and service integration, the container berths at both Aden Container Terminal (ACT) and Mualla Container Terminal (MCT) witnessed the simultaneous berthing of four container vessels during the month of February. This has become a recurring occurrence throughout the month, which coincides with the Holy Month of Ramadan, clearly demonstrating the efficiency of operational planning and the effectiveness of coordination among the various departments and sections.

This achievement comes as a result of the efforts exerted by the management of the Port of Aden and Aden Ports Development Company through strengthening the integrated workflow among marine operations, yard management, stevedoring activities, and supporting services, which has contributed to reducing waiting times and improving operational performance indicators.

The berthed vessels were handled in accordance with a precise operational plan that ensured smooth loading and discharge operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency, despite operational challenges associated with increased maritime traffic during the recent period.

The port management confirmed that this simultaneous reception of vessels reflects the growing confidence of shipping lines in the Port of Aden and further enhances its position as a strategic maritime hub capable of accommodating growth in trade volumes and providing competitive services that support import and export activities.
