Chairman of APDC Conducts Inspection Tour of Aden Container Terminal and Praises Workforce Commitment
Chairman visits to ACT after EID holiday
2 June 2026 – Dr. Mohammed Alawi Amzarbah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aden Ports Development Company (APDC), paid an inspection visit to Aden Container Terminal following the Eid Al-Adha holiday. He was received by Mr. Aref Hassan Al-Shaabi, General Manager of the Container Terminal.
During the visit, Dr. Amzarbah toured the terminal’s departments and sections, accompanied by Mr. Al-Shaabi, to extend Eid greetings to employees and review the level of staff attendance and workplace discipline.
Dr. Amzarbah commended the commitment and discipline demonstrated by the Container Terminal’s workforce and employees, as well as the efforts exerted throughout the Eid Al-Adha holiday period. He noted that the terminal maintained uninterrupted operations during the holiday and, on the contrary, achieved outstanding operational performance, reflected in increased handling productivity, enhanced operational efficiency, and reduced vessel berthing time.
He further praised the dedication of the terminal staff in ensuring the continuity of services and maintaining high operational standards during the holiday period.
